Over the course of several seasons, from Spring 2016 to Fall 2017, Bridgewater Candle Company updated the style of their Core Collection to reflect its movement towards a more modern demographic. During my time at Bridgewater I helped to conceptualize, design, and panel various design choices for the packaging updates. My designs can be seen in the change in hangtag style, reed diffuser box and label, auto vent clip packaging change, and lid design.
Born of a need to set holiday apart in our products, and as a reflection of how the holidays are set apart during the year, the Bridgewater Holiday Collection was created. Originally featured in the Core Collection, the holiday fragrances were narrowed down to the three best sellers, were poured in specialty containers, and given updated packaging images and patterns to reflect both the fragrance notes and the feeling created when the fragrance is experienced.
The Sweet Grace Collection was added to Bridgewater Candle Company in Spring 2016. Since then it has taken the Sweet Grace fragrance, already a favorite among many, and catapulted it to a new level of success. The original design of dust covers and labels was done in the Fall of 2015. I have since upheld the design standards while adding additional patterns to fit with existing designs and expand vessel/pattern pairings.
With the addition of personal care items in the form of hand cream, bar soap, liquid soap, and laundry detergent, the opportunity arose to create a different kind of packaging that balances style, brand standards, and regulatory restrictions.
